The heaviest band you know?!?

Re: The heaviest band you know?!?
I saw thou, crowbar and converge on the same bill last year. That was a rather intense evening to say the least.
Thou played a few sets at roadburn last week and for one of them they were joined by an extra guitarist and bassist. I wasn't there but my friend who was said it was totally fucking insane.

Re: The heaviest band you know?!?
As for the heaviest. I don't think I can honestly answer that. Too many bands doing different things. A list will have to do haha. In no particular order:
Thou
Crowbar
Neurosis
Cursed (especially III)
Cult Leader
Burning Witch
I do believe that on a philosophical level it's impossible to be heavier than Neurosis.

Fuck yes. That's still my overall fave Pantera album; it's so fucking evil.

It’s mine too. I guess there were some internal tensions going on during the recording. Dime, Rex and Vinnie did their stuff at Dime’s Home Studio and Phil cut his tracks at Trent Reznor’s place. Whatever the reasons were, it made this the most pissed odd album I’ve ever heard. And could still bring the melodies on tracks like 10s and Floods.

Re: The heaviest band you know?!?
So I found this online... I was at this show in this crowd. There was maybe between 50 to 75 people there. First show Kingdom of Sorrow did at the Magic Stick in Detroit. Tiny venue, small crowd and this show was wild.
