I just read this whole thread and felt my hope for mankind diminish with each and every new post until this post restored it.

I had to jam it on my way home yesterday after posting that - yep, still fucking amazing. Honestly probably the best metal tone ever IMO

I had to look it up since I am not familiar. That is an incredible guitar tone.

Is that B. Real singing on the title track? Edit: I meant Sean Dog

Back then the rapper was a dude called Bonz

I think the guitarist (Rich Ward) does all the actual singing, but don't quote me on that

Andy Sneap produced the album, but to me it sounds a lot different than his "typical" sound

Yeah Rich Ward does all the actual singing.
Gear wise he used a '76 Les Paul with a 500T in the bridge and a Marshall JMP 2203 with 6550's through a 1960 with Greenbacks.

I was a huge Stuck Mojo fan back in the day and was obsessed with Ward's tone.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Isn't it some kinda mystical modded Marshall though? Seems like I remember him having some special name for it. Or maybe that amp came later

If it was stock, that particular Marshall had a pissload of gain

Well, that was fascinating on several counts........
Morello is a Harvard grad/dropout(?), so I know he's gots some brains
His satire on using a nylon string guitar for a rocker's tune is acknowledged.

But most importantly, I NEVER listened to the lyrics to that song!!!
I only heard the chorus "dirty deeds done dirt cheap"!

So I figured, yeah, AC/DC.... I thought it was your usual sexual dirty lyrics song

Wow, that was an eye opener!

Those are not the real ACDC lyrics. At least the first verse wasn't Tom has to always turn things into racial or political issues or in this case both.

The true lyrics aren't really about sexual dirty lyrics either in that regard although there is one verse kind of about that.

My interpretation:

1) Beating up the principle. Can't convince a dead person to do something.
2) Calling an escort for sex when your deadbeat husband is out for the night.
3) Tim Lambesis.

The only difference from a stock Marshall is the 6550s. He does push the front end with a tube screamer though.

I think he's using Splawns now with Fozzy.

Even Wu-Tang cant save you.

Ill admit this is by far the best song yet but I loved Wu-Tang growing up so idk.

Is not horrible but the beats are just too poppy imo.
