Ah ha! Thanks for clarifying.... I had just flipped the top on my lunch coffee when I read your post.
Not sure how I got "vacuum dealer" mixed up with "cell phone store" but, I'm sure it had something to do with a lack of caffeine!

Is Jimmy supposed to be stupid? Because his mugging was 1000% predictable.

Jimmy is certainly clever but, he doesn't seem to be smart enough to keep himself out of trouble.... reminds me of me.
It's like, he sees the road but, not the curve ahead.

Jimmy turned down a fantastic future, as a partner, at Davis & Main, HHM's competitor, during the episodes with class action suit against the old folk's home.
A smart person would have stayed on, made connections and then started their own firm.
Jimmy wants it all now but at the same time, he is unable to see the futility in trying to make too much out of yourself, too soon.
So, my vote goes for, not so smart.

Am I the only who thought that Jesse may pop up at the Dog House? I mean, that bouncing car sure looked like the Cap'n Cook mobile...

Awesome episode. Loved the opening scene. Breaking Bad, breaking down. Awesome.

You know that switch he flipped on the wall at Davis and Mann? (It said “do not touch”) I guarantee there will be a result of that, and it will be the last scene of the show.

No reason to have Walt or Jessie on. EVER. In the "current" timeline of the show, both BB and BCS are happening in parallel now, but neither are involved in each others worlds for a bit from now. Someone even mentions the new product in one of the episodes, though i'm drawing a blank where, who or when. Jimmy is already Saul personality-wise and his new phone obsession only points right to that.

When/IF the BCS universe finds out Tucco dies, there is still a long period before the two worlds merge. My bet is they may elude to Walt seeing Saul in the 6th season and they will wrap it all up. I hope.

That said, it has been inn the "news" that Cranston and Douchbag "miss" their BB roles. I hope that doesn't actually mean anything in terms of BCS.

I just caught up. I bowed out middle of second season. I love slow pacing, but those first two seasons.... nothing happened. Last week, i decided to catch up and i'm glad i did. I love this show. Even the episodes Wayne despises, i love.

It is a good show and they've managed to make it different than Breaking bad, even if half the characters are the same.

That's why I said awhile ago, I also prefer to not see Walt or Jesse. I really don't see how they'd help this series. It'd almost feel like a Jump the Shark moment.. keep em away.. I really don't care to see more Breaking bad

How could it not crossover to B.B. at some point, or even pick up where BB left off? Walt isn’t really officially dead IIRC.

Yeah man! Breaking Bad rocked and I would love to see an appearance by Walt and Jesse!. Woooo hoooooo!!!

The strip mall (where Saul eventually sets up shop in BB) is being used in the Lodge 49 series, that comes on after BCS.
There is a seedy pawn shop owner, in one of the adjacent stores... a logical place for Pinkman, Skinny Pete and Badger to show up.
As soon as Jimmy moves in to the strip mall, BB characters could easily enter the story line, via the pawn shop, without any suspension of disbelief.

But for what reason? A cameo? I mean, i get that paths could cross, but not in a logical way that could affect the story line really. The two worlds simply are not intermixed yet and when/if they do in this series, Walt and Jessie should be minimal since we've already seen their viewpoint of that time period.

I mean... OK... if they keep going with BCS's timeline past Walt "dying" in a linear way, then sure... bring them back in for a few things that make sense a couple seasons from now.

I had tried watching breaking bad a long time ago and quit around episode 4. But I love the Better Call Saul series so I went back and started watching Breaking Bad again. I'm almost at the end of season 2. I still think BCS is better but that's probably due to all the practice they got on BB(?). I just feel like the character development and all the cool scene shots are much better. Also I guess I'm more curious about how the characters in BCS will play out than I am in BB because BB is more obvious. Plus Mike is a badass. He's probably my favorite character.

Even if it were a 30 second cameo, I would really dig seeing Jesse bringing Walt to meet with Saul for the first time.
It's no different then bringing Gail into the story.... it's entertaining. I mean, we were all wondering when Gus would show up and when he did, my g/f and I were like, WOW, this is cool!

I don't think Jimmy will get his law license back during this season... I'm guessing they will save it for the beginning of the next season.
When Jimmy gets his lawyer licence back, he could easily move into the Breaking Bad strip mall office, without changing any of the time line. Once he's at the strip mall, near the pawn shop, all the meth heads will notice and they will seek Jimmy out for legal help... and viola, Jesse Pinkman meets Saul.

BB gets totally insane in the later seasons. You're going to love it!!!
My g/f and I binge watched all 5 seasons in two weeks!
I'd get home from works and we'd watch until midnight. On weekends, we'd watch from 11am to 3am. LOL! It was crazy!

It's hard to say which show I like better - I really do like them both.

I get it. I really do. i suppose just a quick cameo would be cool. I just worry that cameo's that don't push the story along can hurt the series. Gale is different. he's integral to getting that room set up. He needs to be involved

I totally agree... I wouldn't want them to stick Walt in, just to stick him in.
That's what makes Vince Gilligan and his writers so good; the continuity is always on mark and everything makes sense.

Except for the fact that BCS takes place in Albuquerque and Lodge 49 takes place in Long Beach.

I'd love to see Jesse, Combo and Skinny Pete make a cameo to hire Saul. It can't be Badger because he didn't know Saul when they hired him for Badger's defense in BB.

Did I miss something? Jimmy was in the salon back office all of a sudden, but I didn't see how that even started. Was that some sort of flash forward?
