I really have to disagree about Red State... I thought it was awesome... I really wish they had filmed the alternate ending that Kevin describes in the commentary...
Smodcast and Fatman on Batman are listened to every weekend at my house...
I just watched The Dark Knight Returns because of FMOB.
I JUST ORDERED IT THIS WEEKEND!!!!
I'm waiting to listen to this weeks episode, so I can play it along with the DVD. I actually should stop listening to it, because after every show I end up either buying a bunch of comics and/or a bunch of DVD's.
His enthusiasm is catchy, I've reread killing joke, and tdkr as well as cacophony. Got me back to reading more comics. Which is awesome.
He's a pretty cool guy. He stopped to talk to me and my wife after a NJ Devils game a few years ago. Talked mostly about the game and Silent Bob. When we were done, he hopped into his mini-van and went home. CSB.
Love that guy, Chasing Amy and Zack And Miri are some of the very few truly good rom-coms. Dogma is the greatest movie ever made about faith (together with Life Of Brian) and Clerks is a pretty genius slice-of-life movie, although he really just tried to copy Richard Linklater he struck a completely different kind of gold.
nightflameauto wrote:Checking into it, looks like until Randal signs on, it's stuck in limbo. So, almost EXACTLY the same way Clerks 2 started pre-production. He SOOOOOOOOOOOOO did not want to come back, and this time he's even more adamant.
$$$$$$ = he'll cave, but it'll take time.
Jeff Anderson and Brian O'Halloran won't sign on until they can do it without the Weinstein brothers, who are in some form of rights dispute with Smiths production company. So there won't be a Clerks movie until that's done. But don't worry, we'll have the Hit Somebody mini-series before that (I bet it'll be on AMC since he's already working with them) and the sitcom on FOX he talked about on the latest Babble-On.
