I didnt see clerks til after i't been out several years. Back then, everyone told me "you look like Dante from the movie Clerks" (dont laugh..thats what I looked like at one time ha ha) . Finally got around to checking it out, then got into some of Kevins other stuff. My wife got mi into Smodcast & other goodies a few years ago. She's a huge fan.

The beginning of Red State looked promising..then got cool..then just dragged out & turned to sh*t. That coulda been a great (modern) horror film. the whole "craigslist crazys" thing coulda been a great horror setting.

Kevins gonna retire after Clerks 4. Dont blame him, really..though I'd like to see him involved with the projects of others.

I'm a View Askew dork as well....

I really have to disagree about Red State... I thought it was awesome... I really wish they had filmed the alternate ending that Kevin describes in the commentary...

Smodcast and Fatman on Batman are listened to every weekend at my house...

Agreed about Red State. I thought the epic troll job at the end was most appropriate.

I JUST ORDERED IT THIS WEEKEND!!!!

I'm waiting to listen to this weeks episode, so I can play it along with the DVD. I actually should stop listening to it, because after every show I end up either buying a bunch of comics and/or a bunch of DVD's.

I am a fan, I remember seeing clerks for the first time and thinking this is funny as hell and it had bad religion on the soundtrack.

I like most of his films but clerks will always be no.1 for me.

I also thought zack an Miri make a porno was great too.
