Except for finding some screws for the handle, it's finished.

The first speaker grille frame I made didn't make the cut. I ended up making another using the same plywood and lap joints. This is a pretty strong joint and plenty good for this purpose. It's also easy to assemble/glue and lends itself well to working alone.

Here's the finished cab. Doing the grille this way was a pain but it turned ok for my first cab. In hindsight, I think the white piping would look better if accompanied by some chrome hardware. Perhaps I should have gone with grey, black or omitted it entirely. If it continues to bug me I can always remove it.

I learned quite a bit on this project. Putting that knowledge to use should yield better cabs in the future.

Sound-wise it's great for the room I'm playing in at home which is about 12' x 14'. Out of the 3 cabs I have now, it's by far the best sounding in the space I use it in.

So yea to wrap this up, this has been a good and humbling experience. Not only did I enjoy building it, but I have a greater appreciation for the work of others in this area.
