Battle of the QSR Burger - FIGHT

Post by Dave »

What's your favorite fast food/quick serve burger?

For years now mine has been the Shake Shack Smoke Shack. It fucking slaps.

Midwest poverty. I'm going Wendy's. Though I do love a Hardee's mushroom and swiss as well as the Frisco burger. With large coke for maximum diarrhea potential.

Big Five Guys fan here (my favorite) but I do love me some In N Out.

Honestly can't remember the last time I had a fast food burger, because I can't have the fries that go with them.

But from memory: does Red Robin count? If not, probably Five Guys. Never had In-n-Out or Whataburger.

Fuddruckers - Elk Burger w/ Cheddar
Burger 21 - BBQ Bacon
BurgerFi - Burger
The Habit - Double Char

In roughly that order. We don't have In-N-Out or Whataburger here. Five guys is too greasy. Smashburger closed all locations in Florida. Hardee's is terrible in Florida, but I remember it being good in North Carolina. The nearest Shake Shack from me is 45 minutes, ultimately not worth the drive when I have the four above all within 15 minutes of me. But Shake Shack does make some damn tasty crinkle fries

What we need is a Taco Bell/Hardee's collaboration with one of their mushroom swiss burgers as the actual inside of the burger sandwiched between two Mexican Pizzas from TB for the ultimate in gastrointestinal cleansation.

As far as chain restaurants that are literally everywhere, I like Burger King and Wendy's

The thing about those is they can be awesome or complete fucking garbage; all depends on the location and whether the employees give even the slightest bit of fuck

Our Wendy's is slow af but the burgers are generally delicious. If we're grading on a fast food scale. Culvers has the butter burger which is basically a double smash burger and it's very good as well.

Rally's/Checker's has the best fries but their burgers taste like coasters made of mold and shit.

Five Guys is good, pricey for a family of four but worth it. Farmer Boys has pretty good burgers, shitty fries though. Culvers butter burgers, everything's good there. LOL I just grabbed a double double animal style for lunch today because I had to run around town for work so I stopped off at one.

Culver’s. I live about a half hour from their HQ, and I live equidistantly between two locations. They have been a very big part of my life, ever since I can remember.

Five Guys will do, but they’re sort of hit or miss, on the service. I once waited two hours, and they still fucked up my order. I like the fries, and the shakes are good. Wendy’s will do, but I prefer their chicken. Everything else tends to be desperation-driven. I travel for work, and sometimes McDonald’s is all there is to eat.

:freak: WTF? The most I've ever waited at a Five Guys is maybe 20 minutes.

Historically, Whataburger has been my go to and favorite but Five Guys isn't too far behind.
