It authenticates once every 24 hours, requiring connection. You can't disable Kinect or block the sensor...or it stops operating. Those are some of the main complaints in that regard.

You have to remember your connectivity is not always under your control. I have experienced outages in both my internet services and in XBL services. Granted, anything over a day is extremely rare, but it can happen. With the xbox, once you reach that mark you're done playing games. It's not likely to affect most of us, honestly, but it CAN. Then you have folks that don't live in well-covered areas, and they are the ones most likely to REALLY get the shaft in the deal. Take my bro and sis in law as an example. They aren't gamers, mind you, but what if? They live in the sticks, they can't get DSL or cable. Their only option is satellite or wireless internet. Satellite is, last I checked a year or two ago, still measured in kbps and it costs 3x what I pay for 30 mbps. No way. They have a Verizon hotspot for internet, but have terrible reception where they live. So what happens to someone like them?

The Sony laptop I'm typing on right now has an "eye" and sophisticated microphone-array that's becoming common. I suppose I can become paranoid about being spied on by it if I took a lot of drugs.

Whether you care about them or not, they are still a target demographic of the Xbone...And they, and many like them, will not get an Xbone for that very reason, thus affecting sales.

I have been looking forward to this game since I heard about it a couple years ago.

I have loved all of the Uncharted games, and this is labeled even better than those. I'm so stoked, I won't be doing a whole lot this weekend

I have both systems, and I've never understood the hate for either controller. Switching between the two has never been a problem for me, and each one is comfortable

I had an original PS back in the day. And I liked it then. It wasn't until I got used to the Xbox controller that when I went back to PS style it was very strange feeling. I could probably just adjust.
