Meet Penelope, aka Penny. She's a Doberman/Hound mix, we adopted her when she was two years old, she'll be nine the day after Thanksgiving. She was clearly mistreated the first two years of her life because for the first 18 months that we had her, she would hide under my bed whenever anyone she didn't know came over. Now she's the exact opposite, when she meets someone new she's trying to sit in their lap 5 seconds after she meets them Also, she firmly believes that if she makes eye contact with you and she wags her tail, you are legally obligated to pet her for at least 20 minutes. Her favorite activities include taking a nap on the couch (see picture), followed by another nap on my bed (not hers). When she's not sleeping she's full of energy, but I think I would be too if I slept 15 hours a day like her
