At first I was like what the hell is Pepi talking about? Then I clicked on cnn and sure enough, it looks like a giant dick. Apparently he wants to fuck space.

it's pretty cool you can build your own space ship if you have enough money , in 100 years maybe we can buy a kit off amazon and DIY to the Moon .

Not gonna lie, dude. When I was a kid growing up I dreamed that we’d all be at this point right now. Regardless of what I personally feel about Jeff Bezos, I’m a bit envious.

I laughed my ass off that there was a petition started telling him to stay in space once he made it there with some ridiculous number of sigs. Jealousy is a horrible trait to foster.

I'm glad we've got so many different players in the space game right now. In the end the costs will come down to the point where even us nimrods would be able to afford a trip. Maybe not in my lifetime, but we'll at least be headed that direction. Finally.

Honestly this seems like bullshit compared to the stuff Space X is doing and isn't anything new over NASA from 50 years ago.
Color me not impressed what tax dodging Lex Luthor is doing with a space peen he financed.

Honestly, SpaceX is killing it when it comes to space travel. People love to point at the Starship blowups and say "Musk can't even get to space," and they somehow completely ignore the Dragon/Falcon situation which has been human rated and actually transporting human beings into orbit for quite a while now.

I'm super excited by the prospect of what the Starship design will be capable of doing once it's further along in the test cycle. That's gonna be one massive cargo carrier. Not to mention the potential size of crewed missions.

Well the difference is Elon is a critical part of the design/engineering aspect, along with the actual goal setting leadership in the company. It would be stuoid to risk his life at this point

Yet he bought a ticket on Branson's almost-space plane, which doesn't exactly have a stellar track record.

Granted, those two are supposedly friends, and Branson's saying he'll probably buy a ticket on Elon's ships when that becomes publicly available, so it could just be a scratch my back situation there.
