NewCarDay:Skullet In Crisis

Post by TurboPablo »

Haven't been around here much the past month or so. I've been scouring southern New England for a new project. Always been a 5.0 Mustang guy, so that's what I've been looking for(1986-1993). Unfortunately, everything I looked at had at least some significant rust on it. I like to wrench and don't mind doing mechanical work at all. Body and chassis on the other hand, fuhgettaboutit. So, since everything was rusted junk, I started looking at the '94-'95 Gt Mustangs. Newer chassis with a good old fashioned pushrod V8 motor. First one I looked at was, again, rusty. Not a good start. Second one I looked at on the other hand, looks like this after a wash and wax........

Aside from 3.73 gears and a exhaust kit, it's bone stock. Owned by a Grandpa. Prior to him, owned by a little teacher lady.

I found a California car in Connecticut.

Mid life crisis in full swing.

I had a '95 for a few months. Sold it because it was a PITA to carry gear in it, but it was a fun car to drive. If I ever start using 2x12s I will get another

Nice score! :hi5:

I get your reluctance, as Fox body stangs kinda have a culture all their own, and mannnnnn my current SN95 definitely feels like the smallest Mustang I've owned, by that I mean the interior, it feels cramped, but if things go as usual they'll be the next body style to start going back up in value, so there's that.
