Another newbie saying hello!

Post by ajaxlepinski »

Hello everyone!

While researching Hiwatt clones, for the past month, I stumbled across GuitarAmpBoard.com - F 'n A bros!!!
This site has a ton of info and I'll be visiting frequently.

So, after looking at Hiwatt (UK), Mywatt (Germany), Triwatt (Tritone Canada), Reeves (US) and Hi-Tone (US), I decided to order a Hi-Tone DR103-DG with fx send added.
It would seem that the Hi-Tone is the only clone that is endorsed by Dave Reeves' family - I though that was cool.
These Hiwatt clones are freekin' expensive, so, it's going to take three months before I can afford a 4x12 cabinet to go with the head!
In the mean time, I'll be playing it through the speaker on my Randall RG80 combo until I can afford the cabinet. Wooo Hoooo! Can't wait!!!

Glad to be here!

That's the scene! I'm showing my age but, I was 6 when the series first aired and I never missed an episode!
I can't believe that they're not available on DVD!
