Can't say I was a fan though; I saw Skid Row live right after he joined the band and he was.....not good lol. Skid Row with Bach was one of my all time favorite bands and in my opinion they haven't done anything worth a damn since Bach left

yeah but not in the peak years of the band.
It's like Tommy Thayer for example who's been in KISS longer than Ace was but he will never have the same status Ace does with the fans.
But anyway, RIP. Always sad to see someone die so young. But this is not a significant loss for music. More of a loss on a personal level for his friends and family, so my condolences to them.

R.I.P , I can't help but think all the 60's 70's & 80's rockers will pass in the next couple years . They all lived hard & fast . The fucking industry throws drugs at these guys . Piles of coke on the mixer while "working" through many classic sessions .

I saw him with Skid Row right after he joined as well. They were the opener on the Kiss reunion tour iirc. He was not good… my buddy played guitar for him in his Texas Country band he fronted. We talked about this yesterday. Apparently he was a baaaad drunk. Like could deliver the whole show and start drinking after and be gone/completely fucked in about 30 minutes to the point they’d have to load him in the van. Sad but unfortunately what you get when you’re a crazy alcoholic.

Yeah, this exactly. He was in the band when no one gave a shit.
