When Connery was on the screen he always grabbed your attention no matter the role he played, not many of current hollywood crop could touch that.

He was awesome in The Untouchables. That movie wouldn't have been nearly as good with someone else in that role, in my opinion. Ditto for Highlander. Can't imagine anyone else in that role either.
