Its an Election Year - Thanks Billy!

Post by K-Bizzle »

Every single place I regularly visit on the internet is fully infested with politics at this point.
Reddit (duh), FB (super duh), Instagram (why hear?), podcasts, my email inbox, as well as my google/apple news feeds are just absolutely full to the brim with politics due to the election this year.
This is not to mention the noninternet stuff like TV ads, road signs, bumper stickers, radio, mail, and hats/shirts.

I will say nothing more other than THANK YOU to Billy for giving us at least one place that is a politics free refuge right now, it is truly a relief. :thu:

I actually really have to agree with this. It's been an adjustment but the politics has infected every single aspect of life. You can't escape it.

But GGF is one safe refuge from it.

Good job Billy. This is why you lead.

Fuck yes and thank god. Go to rigtalk and glance at the off topic absolute shitshow and you'll see immediately why no politics is the right call.

Have to agree. I left Mark Wein's forum, because of that stuff. Thank you Billy!

Me too. This is probably the only site I look forward to visiting these days.

Well, except for porn. Duh.

But seriously, thanks Bill for running a clean forum.

Agree! As much as I respect the thoughts of most of the people here and would love to talk politics, it's great to not see it in every thread.

I'd like to add that I am very happy that the hardcore trolling has ceased. While we did have some pretty epic/classic battles in the past, it's so much more relaxed and enjoyable now.

We've all (at various stages of human development over the last few years) have gotten too old for that shit.

Do I sense competition? I’ve heard the other candidate has too dogmatic of views. My candidate promises open feeding for everyone. Don’t fall for the pupaganda!

We can mount campaigns and have our own election here?

Either way, Make America Furry Again!

LOL. Well. shit. It looks like I have to tap someone to be Elliott's campaign chair, mobilize an election team, find an acronym that works, print that acronym on hats and T's and make a campaign poster. It's going to be a busy weekend
