So my mom retired two weeks ago...

Post by Steinmetzify »

She did some stuff around the house, had a deck built inside of two days, had a bar put in and has been the life of the party for her neighbors...I've been out there 3 times for whatever in the last two weeks and there hasn't been one time there weren't drunk people present; it's sort of nuts because all the people in her neighborhood are in their early 30s and 40s, but there they all are, drinking along with her.

I just got this text from her that said 'Road Trip' along with this photo:

Image

My 71 yr old mother, who my whole life has been against us doing any sort of drugs and mostly against us drinking too, is now literally getting into her truck to go to Nevada TO BUY ALL THE WEED

Shit made me laugh

Did you get edibles? I hate edibles, they don't seem to really do anything to me unless I take too much than i feel like crap.
I prefer cartridges, a couple little hits and I feel good within 10 minutes.
And those bags are a pain in the ass to open. 2 years ago I took the kids to Disneyland, ran out at night to a place to buy some edibles and shit was in a bag like that, than once inside was another bag that was a pain in the ass to open, especially when you're on vacation with no knife or scissors. I was using my house keys to cut them open.

Yeah, some gummy things. I think I could just take half of one and be good. Wasn’t really after a high per se, was more for relaxation and pain relief on my shoulder, but about an hour after I took the 2nd one I melted into the couch and got lost in my own head.

Should have just taken the one lol

My wife got one of those Magic Butter things and has been making awesome edibles. She makes some peanut butter cups that are to die for! Gotta be careful with those cause they’re so damn delicious! That’s hilarious you got in on it too! Nice to read some feel good shit with all the other craziness happening right now.
