of two Los Angeles based radio stations, KJAZ 88.1 and Clasical KUSC 91.5, both of which are "member supported" stations that get 70% or more of their budget from contributing listeners. While I'm only giving $10/month/each I've decided to go ahead and do this because I've been wanting to for a couple years now. These have been radio preset #1 and #2 in my car for a long time, and where I tend to leave my dial with the exception of some classic rock rotation. I want these two stations to stay alive on the air for several years to come, so that when I go cruising with my boys they can know who Mozart and Metheny are.

I donated a car to KCSN last year, also a listener supported LA station. They make my commute bearable in the general wasteland that is LA commercial radio.

I listen to KUSC on occasion, but not enough that I would donate to them.
