We just went through a similar procedure with my gf's dog. It's pretty safe, if performed by a good vet and if the dog is healthy otherwise. Recovery is not that bad either. I know these things are stressful but the prognostic here is good. Good luck and mojo sent.

mojo man. my dog just had a mass cell removed not long ago and the biopsy came back low malignancy
