Not a huge fan of this album in particular; but of all albums to try this crazy experiment with... Brave man and would be super cool to see how it fares in reality vs. concept

I dig the new album. I'm going through his back catalog and really enjoying a lot of it.
I think the Nickleback guy screwed him though- DT could certainly turn out some hooky pop songs and rake in the cash. He advised him not to and to continue languishing check to check and create this sub-genre limited audience material. WTF Chad f'ing Krueger gets involved and encourages his artsy side?! That was a lottery ticket waiting to be cashed in.
