Went to see Blondie and Elvis Costello and the Impostors last night. It was an outdoor show at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium - there was so much herb being smoked that the g/f and I caught a buzz!!! F'nA cool!!!
Debra Harry was looking pretty good for 74. Of course, they played all the favs and some new stuff that's not going to get much air play.
Elvis was spot on! He can really rock for an old man! The pair of background singers that were super pro - amazing pipes and Steve Nieve kicked arse on keys. Elvis also played some new material but, it was for a play that he has in production - it was actually pretty decent.

Nice! We saw Blondie with Devo a few years back and they were both excellent. I saw Elvis opening up for the Police on their reunion tour but I was not really wanting anything to do with him considering I was waiting to see the Police
