They played last night at the Machine Shop in Flint. Openers were local. Didn’t pay much attention as we missed the first one and the second one did nothing for me. Anyway, SW tore it up. Chris Hall still sounds awesome live. Dude’s voice has held up well. They played mostly Darkest Days stuff as it’s the 20th anniversary tour for that album, but they did play a few cuts from Whither Blister Burn and Peel and Ungod also. Place was packed too. Band sounded right as fuck also. No idea what amps were being used because they were offstage but they sounded great and the mix was clear. They looked like they were having a lot of fun too.
Highlights for me: Haunting Me, Falls Apart, Nothing, Sometimes it Hurts, What Do I Have to Do, Save Yourself (crowd was nuts during this one), Torn Apart and them closing the show with Shame. That music sounds as good today as it did in the 90s.

+ is a bit less angry, like maybe a 35 year old man angry.

Shame was one of the first songs that "hit" me when I was like 10 or so. I couldn't get enough. If I owned it, I would have had it on repeat. Still such a fucking jam.
