depression messes your brain up, shrinks grey and white matter.

take wellbutrin, increase grey and white matter, extend the life of your brain health and prepare to lose weight and be horny 24/7.

It's because you cancel it out with alcohol. Booze is the worst depressant on Earth.

prozac = ssri (serotonin reuptake inhibitor)

wellbutrin = ndri (norepinephrine, dopamine reuptake inhibitor)

wellbutrin is a very common add-on to ssri meds. great combo.

wellbutrin is more stimulating. it is derived from phenethylamine (not confused with the amino acid phenylalanine), which is also what amphetamine is derived from and which is what gives chocolate its awesome feeling, but wellbutrin is a reuptake inhibitor only and is not addictive (in terms of abusing a high) whereas amphetamine is a releasing (and also reuptake) agent, which causes its "high". wellbutrin is great for the low-energy depression and works really well for people who gravitate towards or who have abused stimulants (amphetamine, cocaine, caffeine, etc...) as it is really good for removing cravings.

neato fact: phenethylamine (PEA) is what gives chocolate its feel good feeling. it is basically your body's natural amphetamine. if you add a single methyl ring to it you have amphetamine. if you add 2 methyl rings to it, you have methamphetamine.

Pepi wants to smack people. He's not depressed, he's aggressive.

Drugs will not slow him down. Only anger him.

You should go to work again. You seem to be doing worse after you retired. Even if you don't need the money, find something you enjoy, perhaps a volunteer gig.... Working with the raptors in CA really helped me when I was going through a hard time about 10 years ago..

If only there were some kind of hobby that one could do at home, for very little money, that engages both the brain and the hands and improves your mood.

Man ... I just spent 12 days in Arizona and Utah seeing the wonders of the world. Hardly sitting on my ass. Drinking? Yes, too much beer :( Next winter it's time to go to Florida or AZ for a couple months :thu:

That's awesome. Good for you. Cut the beer out, correct your diet and get exercising. Ity's almost guaranteed that the depression will fade.

I've been to Utah, Moab and The Arches National Park. Lately I've been thinking that I need to see Arizona, Colorado and the Grand Canyon.

We did Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff area, Horseshoe Bend, Page, Lake Powell, Staircase, Antelope Slots, (A MUST) ... Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion. Bryce and Zion was only half open due to road problems :( We also do a lot of hiking on moderate trails

Last year we did Moab, Arches, CanyonLand, Colorado Monument and the Rocky mountain national park. I can't say a favorite because they all are different in a beautiful way

Learn a random genre you wouldn't normally play...just for kicks. Or mix two genres that wouldn't normally work together...just for kicks.
just like exorcise, you just gotta do it...or die a weak pathetic mess.

I stopped playing for 5 years once, although I still did a few shows every year.
Glad I got back into it.... so many pedals I haven't tried yet!
