fretting hand, arm completely out of commision

i have an outdoor pull-up bar and was working on some front lever progressions when i felt something give just a tad. no big deal. over the course of the next few hours my shoulder/arm/neck started ramping up in pain to the point that i'm writhing in the ER. turns out i gave myself a stinger (brachial plexus) and now i can't feel my most my arm or hand, which all feels like i slept on it funny. i couldn't even get the fruity pebbles off the shelf this morning.

Less like beating off and more like thrusting into a warm, dead hand.

I think prognosis is good but we will see. Sometimes they require surgery. Hopefully not.

took a stinger to the shoulder when I was in my 30's. Serious open field tackle hit. Arm was dead for almost the entire day.

My right shoulder gives me trouble to this day, and I swear it's from that. I feel for ya.

thanks dudes!

saw a specialist and it turns out there is also probably a neck injury with c4/c5 disc pinching a nerve. i have had the disc above it replaced and probably need this one.

2 MRIs wednesday, one for the shoulder, one for the neck. good news with the MRIs is that i have a good excuse to get ripped AF on klonopin.
