I used to listen to them back in the day but I had forgotten about them over the years....didn't know they were still around really.

I always thought they were were heavy but quirky....never really a one genre type sound.

Anyway, I just happened to stumble onto them again when they played a single from their latest album on a music channel I was checking out.

Damn they have a sound I am really digging. Check them out if you are looking for something off of the beaten path.

Their latest album 'The Wake' (below) came out Sept 2017.

Killing Technology and Dimension Hatross are my favorites \m/ The tracks I have heard from the latest album sound really good as well!

Voivod is always good for a listen time to time. Been a fan since the 90's. And the new album is REALLY good too..

HUGE Voivod fan here. I saw them with Soundgarden on the Nothingface tour. :love:

Piggy was a great and unique guitar player. While I love their heavier stuff I find myself listening to the proggier stuff on Angel Rat and Outer Limits more often.

Just a great, truly unique band.
