Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus

Post by itchyfingers »

Anybody watch this show? I love it man! I'd be stoked to watch a behind the scenes type of thing, just to see if the animated sections are anything like the original footage that is shot, or if there even is original footage. The first season was all country, and even though I'm not much of a country fanatic, each episode was highly enjoyable. This season is all about the funk, and the Bootsie, JB, George Clinton, and Rick James episodes have been insane. I never realized how much LSD was involved in the funk scene, but it sounds like these dudes were tripping for decades! Watched a couple more episodes last night while cleaning up and restringing my favorite ladies...

I didn't know the new season started. The Waylon Jennings episodes are amazing. I love the story of flushing the kilo down the toilet in the recording studio while they stalled the narcotics cops in the control room. And the one where he didn't know what he took and he's freaking out backstage, and then the find a guy who knows what's in it, tell Waylon and he's like "oh, ok" immediately calms down and goes on stage.

Thanks hommies. I am probably due for a new family pic, things have changed pretty significantly since the last one I took.
