Indiana...

Post by IndyWS6 »

Freezing fog advisory early morning. Dense fog warning for late morning through mid-day.

Showers and thunderstorms, some severe, tomorrow.

Cold on Monday.

Light snow on Tuesday.

Message for Billy: When you get to Indiana, keep driving...

Close.

It looks like the area right before the emerald city, where it is snowing and people are passed out on the ground from opiates.

Winter set in here in the last few days too. It actually rained for a few min and it almost dropped to 60

I'm actually in Indiana tonight

What I've noticed so far is the roads in this state are in significantly worse condition than any other state I've driven through so far.

Other than that, it's fine. :idk: The people I've talked to today here have been really nice and helpful. Granted I haven't left the hotel

Yeah the weather in CA is always warm and sunny with a 60% chance of the ground opening up and swallowing your $1M, 900sqft home.

I've done CA and I'm done with CA.

Yeah, but California seems to get all the big disastrous fires.

Probably because we rake our forests here.

On the bright, and somewhat "X-Files", side, I saw "Winter Fireflies" last night. Seriously. It's a thing. There were hundreds of tiny, iridescent green lights flashing in 3 (of the 10+) trees in the yard last night. Lasted for about 4 hours. It was cool AF. And it was not Christmas lights  . But, we'd been drinking and watching football and drinking, so I had to look it up to make sure I wasn't insane. At least about that. Looked exactly like the video, only there were 2x or 3x more...

The news stations are going crazy reporting the "Dire Wind Chill Warning". To be fair, it's 5:30 AM and its' -7. We're heading for -11 (or so) and it won't go back above 0 until tomorrow afternoon. And it's windy, so the wind chill will be in the -25 to -40 range the entire time. F'n brutal. Then, it "warms up" and will hit 50 on Saturday. Indiana. Christ...
