who would be interested? Let's say $40 ballpark but not a strict minimum, if someone wants to buy higher then more power power to 'em. Can be one item or an assortment of items. Can be homemade.

I'm setting the cutoff date for Oct. 15th and a name drawing will be the following day. And let's set the shipping deadline for Dec. 15th. That's a whole 2 months to choose, order, make, wrap & ship your gift.

International ok and encouraged. From past experience with online secret santa's, the earlier we start it the better it works. And there's usually at least one person that doesn't ship anything and then disappears so if you think you might end up being that person, please just don't get involved. If something happens and you end up shipping late, just communicate that you haven't forgotten and that you'll be shipping late. There's no shame in that.

Oh and let's keep the gifts clean. I know I personally don't want to have to hide away from my kids while I open the thing and most of you probably feel the same way I would imagine. Feel free to use your sense of humor if you think of something good but let's try to stay away from x-rated/dirty stuff unless you know for a fact that the recipient will appreciate it.

Yeah sure it can be used. Not a pain in the ass at all man. I think a good general rule is that if you would be pleased to receive it, then it's a good gift to give. Everything else is left up to the gift giver to decide.
