Any of you guys use a dash-cam. Thinking about getting on and there are a lot of them :freak:

Depends on why you want it.
But there is one that has a camera facing both in and out of the car. GPS. G-sensors. etc. Some that are great but cost hundreds of $$$. :idk:

From what i have been able to gather - the dedicated dash cams are better bang-for-the-$.
With accessories the gopro and knock-offs can be used outside of the car easier tho'.

Huge believer in dashcams. I currently run an Anker Roav. It's hardwired, works great. Best $70 insurance policy you could have. Clip I caught a few months ago:

I'm a big fan of Anker. First bought their stuff about 7 years ago. Protip: their battery chargers are absolutely win and so are their battery packs

Will check this out because I drive for a living, thanks.

I like how the Anker cams mount flush with the windshield for a permanent install. Good reviews also

Noice... Were you able to share that with police then?

I wonder... The contrast is obviously jacked up on this cam. Perhaps to better read plates?

Maybe a little. Perhaps to compensate for night time, low-light condition driving. It’s set at 1080p.

If you live somewhere hot get one that's cap powered instead of a battery pack.

Anker claims they have fixed this problem with their V2 units? I live in Indiana and it does get hot at times and I know how Ion batteries can swell. Been looking at the VIOFO A119 PRO that uses caps

We had a couple hot weeks this year in Portland and we also spent a week out in Sunriver where it was 100+ for the week. Zero issues.

I honestly think he was half retarded. If you watch the vid closely, he's not wearing a seatbelt. He wound up on the floor on the passenger side, pretty much unscathed. But he was def a couple cans short....
