Re: Anyone grill out yesterday ???
I made burgers, but used my hands.
I slammed 3 beers by myself to get away from the family.

Re: Anyone grill out yesterday ???
We had a tropical storm here yesterday, so no grilling. I did grill some burgers on Saturday though.

I just did hamburgers and hot dogs yesterday, but cooked three Tomahawk Steaks for the GF's dad's birthday on Sunday. They were 3+ inches thick, so I actually cut the bone out and fileted two of them. I cooked one on the bone, because, Caveman...

I did Tomahawk steaks last year. My wife marinated them in Italian dressing overnight and I grilled them medium rare (had to use a meat thermometer). No exaggeration, they were the absolute best steaks I've ever had, hands down better than any steak house I've been too. I'm going to do them again for Christmas dinner with some grilled corn and vegetables.

I never see that cut in the meat section at the store. I stopped to get "regular" bone-in Ribeyes for the B-Day dinner and they had three of them packaged. Sign from God. Had to buy

The singer in my band poached salmon on his grill... came our excellent.
He used Trader Joe's Teriyaki/Soy sauce combo. The top of the salmon was baked with a nice crust and the pan of water kept the fish from drying out.

Re: Anyone grill out yesterday ???
Sunday was grilled shrimp, chicken thighs marinated in honey garlic soy and zucchini marinated in Italian dressing
Monday was grilled ribeye and asparagus.
I grill several times a week, hang out poolside while drinking beer.
Cleaned out the mister nozzles, so I've got those to cool me off

That's my life in the summer (I emptied my 11th tank of LP on Sunday). We could be friends

With the weather in AZ, I'll grill year round several times a week.
11th tank, that's impressive lol

It's ridiculous, is what it is. I was up to 9 tanks last Thursday and then had to exchange two more over the weekend. I love/prefer charcoal, but it's just not realistic at that kind of pace

Holy shit - no kidding - I am sure I have never gone through more than two - and forgetting to turn it off, and leaving the grill on overnight is one of my specialties!
Re: Anyone grill out yesterday ???
I grilled 1/2 cow, 1/2 bison burgers and chicken wings rubbed with a coffee/garlic rub.
