She passed away this morning. One of the greats. :cry:

Respect to Aretha. The coffee shop scene in Blues Brothers is one of my all time favorite cinematic moments. :cry:

amazing talent.

if you all haven't seen it, you really should watch the music documentary "muscle shoals". some amazing footage of all kinds of bands and musicians like the rolling stones and a young, sassy aretha franklin.
