I think the most we've had was 10 people and that was a while ago. I don't think we'll have that problem but we'll revisit if we have to for some reason.

Maybe 6 is a bit too early. I forget that not everyone has a 15 min commute home like I do

I've done much better the last couple of years in my leagues, using auto pick. Statistically, it's a toss up, so, yeah, I let the computer do it's thing.

The computer is normally based on rankings from last year/the experts and both can be wrong quite a few times. I'd rather ride or die with whoever I pick and can only blame myself lol

I'm in - but will be on vacation from 8/30 to 9/6, and will be driving 8/30.

I don't really have a problem with auto draft either - but last year there were so many suspensions and injuries that a lot of the top projections really sucked the beginning of the year. I also usually draft from teams I want to follow anyway, so it keeps it more interesting for me.

Draft Order

I like doing things different when possible for the draft order. Just little luck and a little bit of skill. So draft order will be determined by Week 3 of the preseason.

- Everyone will take a guess at the total score for all 5 games combined listed below. Closest without going over gets 1st overall pick, second closest gets 2nd overall pick, etc. If your guess goes over then your order will be determined by how far you go over as well but you will be picking at the end of the draft after those that don't go over.

Preseason Week 3
1. Texans vs Rams
2. Chiefs vs Bears
3. Falcons vs Jaguars
4. Ravens vs Dolphins
5. Saints vs Chargers

- The tiebreak in case more than 1 person chooses the same number will be the total passing yards for Titans vs Steelers that takes place the same day. That is ALL passing yards, not just the starter and if some team decides to run the Philly Special those yards count too lol.

Example


1. Diddlybo- Gets first overall pick for choosing the total score exactly
2. The Anomaly - Gets second overall pick for winning the tiebreaker with Ry Manchu for guessing passing yards exactly right. They tied for the total score.
3. Ry Manchu - Next closest for total score without going over
4. Metalguy (me) - Next closest without going over
5. Sierra Voodoo - Went over but was closer than Clipless bumper
6. Clipless bumper - went over the total score and was furthest away

So what I need from everyone is to PM me your 2 numbers/guesses by Friday August 24:

Yep didn't hear much opposition except for you unfortunately so I left it as is.

If you have to autodraft, you can go in and setup custom rankings or designated what position you want to draft per round. On your "My Team" page, find Edit Pre-Draft Player Rankings and
Edit Autopick Strategy. That'll let you setup how you want to draft otherwise it'll use ESPN's default rankings and take the best player available.

Also,

You need to accept the invite otherwise no one will be able to draft ESPN doesn't allow the draft to start unless everyone has joined the league at least an hour prior to draft start.

I just did a quick average of a bunch of preseason games

Tbh, I sped read the instructions and totally forgot the part about going over. If I had remembered, I would have gone with 181 points instead of 212, which would have been the avg points of each team from the first 2 or 3 games minus 5.
