My mom was dead set against me having toy guns. This was working well until my cousin, 2 years older, came to visit with a virtual arsenal of weapons. After their visit, my mom saw me out back using sticks that looked like pistols and rifles.
The only people that had guns where I was growing up were cops and gangbangers. It wasn't until I was in my 20s that I did some proper white trash target shooting and had a great time. My brother in law gave me this Sig Mosquito when I was in my mid-30s, but its always felt like I'm borrowing it...
A 1920's era Colt .45 revolver and Winchester Model 94. Technically they were my dad's, but I got them when he died (I was 18). I gave the Colt to his brother as a keepsake and I still have the Winchester...

Sure is. It's still one of my favorite guns. It's shoots dime sized groups at 75 yds.
kicks like a mule. 7.5x55 is a fairly big cartridge. sounds like a little missile. Ammo is getting tough to come by though. Luckily, I picked some up in the last shipment. Mine is a 1943 walnut stock. Issued to a gent named Alfred Mavitz in Basil Switzerland.

I've fired one of those and also I believe the K35...? I could have that wrong, but it was another straight pull Swiss rifle. My buddy is a gun nut and has brought them over a few times.
As a mechanical engineer, those rifles are a thing of beauty. I love them so much.

Remington 870, after my car got broken into twice, wife and I decided it was time for a home security system. I'm not worried about the car, but in case it escalates to something else, I'd rather have it and never need it. I put a magpul stock on it, because I'm a mall ninja
Their only questionable stuff, IME: AK mags - not very durable. AK Zhukov stock (great functionality, but plastic hinge that *can* break) iphone 6 case was a piece of shit.

It was a joke, I enjoy the few things I have from them. Even the military used their pmags for a time if I recall.
I was probably 6-7? I got a Crossman 760 for my 5th birthday, and upgraded to that a few years later.
Can't wait to teach my son firearm safety and have a blast shooting with him.
I bought one of those at Ayr-Way (chain department store...) when I was maybe 12 years old. I still have it. It's still fun to shoot but has always required CCI Mini-Mags; if you use cheap ammo, it starts to jam by the 10th round...

Have you done a deep cleaning lately? Most rimfires run dirty, and I've noticed this one is extra bad about it. Every 2-3 times out, I'll strip and soak the bolt in CLP. Always run cheap bulk packs with no issues.
Never seemed to matter. Anything but CCI's and it would jam in a hurry...
