My aunt is in stage 4....spread to all her vital organs. She’s entering hospice on Thurs.

Cancer fuckin blows. They’ve been together since high school, they’re in their late 50s now. Dude is gonna be wrecked without her.

Thanks fellas.....so fuckin lame.

Dude was a raging alcoholic when I was younger....she got him straight and I hope he stays that way. No one in my family is nice when we drink and I don't wanna see him back to that shit.

As someone who just went through this with a close friend, and is going through it again with his own aunt, you have my deepest sympathies.

The same thing happened with my aunt and uncle 10 years ago, unfortunately cancer got my uncle a few years later.
I really think it was a case of not wanting to live without her.

They had no kids, but I used to love staying with them, I am miss them.

Hospices and so good though, so kind and helpful.

You’re all in my prayers. It sucks all around. My mom died of cancer on March 16,2018. It’s just as tough 4 months later. In some ways, it’s worse as time goes on. Let me know if you need somebody to talk to.

Sorry to hear this Scott, my condolences. For a different perspective, try to view her entering hospice as a good thing, as she won't have to suffer much longer. I can tell you from personal experience that it's brutal to watch someone fighting so hard yet still losing the battle for any extended period of time.

Fuck cancer. I can't seem to wrap my head around why there are shitbags that live to see 100 y/o, meanwhile good peeps are being taken way before their time.

Thanks guys. She’s home and medicated; they have 20 or so acres including a lake. First thing she saw was 3 fawns playing on the beach when she got settled. Hope she feels great until it’s over and that it’s fuckin quick.

Held on way longer than we thought she would, but she passed away yesterday morning.

I feel that shit, man. I lost my mom to cancer a little over two years ago and my dad is now full blown psycho whiskey drunk every night. Fucking sucks dude. Fuck cancer
