Arcade Fire on Saturday Night Live

Post by ajaxlepinski »

They need to hire some songwriters like, right away.

-AND- their two singers would never make it past the local auditions for The Voice or American Idol... I'm talking about the auditions before you get on TV.

Bill Hader was on so, the show was pretty decent.

Fuck that shitty band

Yeah.. super not into them. It's like the children of the e street band, just somehow even less relevant to my interests, which is practically impossible.

Saw this as well. Um; from an old man perspective (which is probably what we are all giving in thread :zomby: :D ); they sound like a band trying their own take on new wave done in the modern day. Way too many band members for what is needed from what i could see. I am assuming some are there just to add a single note line or chord was every 45 seconds then resume herky jerky stage moves the rest of the time :freak:

This is one of those bands where I'll like an occasional song on the radio, but whenever I've seen / heard them live its like they've never even played together. :idk:

Funny thing is... the male singer always looks surprised and relieved that they're getting applauded at the end of a song.
