Guitar layering

Post by hiatus o »

Saw this today, pretty interesting on his octave/doubles. EQ is preference to your style
but it did sound big with all the tracks. Kinda sucks to kill all the bottom end, but it is
a song mix, not a guitar only track.

He also mentions panning drums like 9 and 3 oclock to leave room for guitars.
Haven't tried that.

Pretty cool, Ola does something very similar with the bass. He will have 2 tracks, one of them sounds completely horrible and really fuzzy on its own but it works for the mix.

This guy here seems to take it to another level.
