Song - NIN & Muse Influence

Post by DeeKay »

I finished recording this song a few months ago. Definitely inspired by Muse and Nine Inch Nails. Seems like there are a few folks on this forum who are into ambient and industrial. It's a kind of a slow burn type of song... Will possibly try one's patience, especially in this day and age

Sounds awesome! Love the reverse (cymbles?) in the beginning and the tempo change towards the end. :rawk:

Thanks for listening. Yeah, I like that reverse cymbal sound too and went through a ton of plugin packs in Ableton to find It.

It sounds good man. How long have you been trying your hand at recording?

Thanks. I've been fumbling about with recording since 1996 - an embarrassing long time considering my current lack of sound engineering sophistication. I literally used Cakewalk 9.0 (not even Sonar) from 1998 until last year when I finally purchased Ableton Live 9. The technology divide between the DAWs was like stepping into the space age from the neolithic period.

Well cool man. There's a lot of good advice to be found here in recording and mixing. Stick around and keep posting your stuff. :thu:
