just hits that sweet spot. Loved this solo ever since I heard it the first time when I was ~10 years old. Not a wasted note to be found

I love Elliot Easton's playing. My son's name is Elliot. My wife wouldn't go for Marshall, Hendrix, Randall, Gibson, Eric, Mick or any variation of Jimmy or James. Funny story, I started a new job in August. My predecessor left because his wife had twins and he needed more money for which he'd have to travel installing computer networks. The twins' names were Hendrix and Marley.

Dude just nails everything. Cool story about the origins of your son's name. I honestly like Elliot the best as far as names go out of the choices you gave her as well
Good call you two!

I love the Cars so much.
The city of Boston has produced some incredible music.

I honestly didn't know if they were full of shit or what, Itchyit seemed like such an absolutely absurd way to play guitar
Yeah, that was weird! I wonder if that Dean Prototype at 21:10ish ever actually saw the light of day - a funky ass guitar right there!
Imagine how much tail EE got in the Cars. I mean usually guitarists get one-upped by the singer but jesus, just look at Rick Ocasek...
