Which will yield better results?

A friend has offered me the choice between a Zoom Q3HD or a Tascam DR-07. Which one will yield better results for simple, in room, clippage? I need to invest in some recording equipment, which I'll work on later this year, but having something in the meantime would be beneficial. What say you?

I have the Q3HD and the audio recordings from it are great IMO... never used the DR-07...


for reference this was recorded with the Q3HD, the video really isn't the best but, you don't really get the Q3 for it's video lol

My little zoom q2 always sounded awesome. Never used a tascam.
