If not for my utter disgust for clean vocals of this style it's kind of okay I guess. Sort of "wait what's happening" style of song.

It sounds like 4 guys that tour a lot with their own bands and only have a few hours here and there to get together to jam. No substance, just a really catchy hook but this is kind of a frankenstein and not in a good way imo.

Love the verses - bearded guy is perfect with the heavy riffs

Hate the choruses - could completely do without the mohawk boy

Soulfly isn't a band I ever got in to. So, that leaves the other guitarist...and drummer, I suppose.

Ol' Max looks like he is having fun. Arise is one of my favorite albums and I know a bit of their history. Definitely a struggle. Love his music so more power to him.

This album came out a couple of years ago and it's actually a really solid album all the way through. One of my favorite "super groups"

Oh and to finish your question....

The other guitarist / singer is from Dillinger Escape Plan and the drummer is ex-Mars Volta.

Total tangent,

I've been waiting for someone with photoshop skills to do a mashup photo of Bruno Mars, the singer of The Mars Volta, and John Travolta called "The Bruno Mars Travolta"
