Slam

Post by Maddnotez »

I've never really been into it. I love death metal but not so much into the typical slam. Especially if it's just one slow riff the whole song and pig squeals the whole time.

But I went to Chicago Domination to see a buddies band play and there were a few really good bands that stood out.

His band Dysentry is really good. It's kind of slam but had some of that east coast groove to it and some of it was more straight DM too. Check them out, they destroyed that place.

Also Lust of Decay and Malignancy. They've both been around for years and to me again, not the typical slam bands. They both played some newer material and were really awesome.

Lust of Decay's live sound was amazing. So brutal and clear. One guy was using a Jsx which was surprising and the other amp was unknown. He took a Vader logo and put it on there lol. Have no idea what it was and didn't ask but those 3 bands were really awesome to watch.
