"Hey!" from L.A.
Wassup guys,
Don't ask why, but I just randomly found out about this forum!
Originally from NJ, I relocated to L.A .over 6yrs ago and work in the animation industry. One of the fun things about my job is, I occasionally write music for the shows that I work on.
I played out A LOT in the 80's and 90's and presently play some solo gigs in town. I'm way more into gear now than back when I played out 4 nights a week. (Back then, it was basically a Marshall JCM 800 2203 1/2 stack, and two guitars.) Now, I almost have one of each flavor -I try not to go overboard, it's just that I'm really into the unique tones each type of guitar or amp has to offer.
Anyway, cheers guys! I look forward to picking your ears, as well as sharing whatever info that may be of value.
Best, Nick

Welcome, brother!
Sounds like a cool job. Being paid to create is never a bad thing.

Should I just PM you my address?

Gentlemen, it's time to roll out the red carpet.
The stained, dirty, red carpet.
That leads to a pile of mostly empty whiskey bottles and half eaten nachos.

I'm starving. I need something with a lot of ingredients. Like sour-cream and salsa pork rinds.
But I was thinking more along the terms of the day-old nachos that the dude at the gas station was gonna throw out anyway so he gave them to Butthead for free. Same episode, they just never got the pork rinds.

This thread is awesome, because several episodes of Beavis and Butthead are now playing in my memories.
(while watching Pantera: This Love)
"uh-huhuhuhu Pantera's dad must have kicked his ass when he was little" -butthead
"hehehehe yeah, 'Dammit Pantera!! This beer is warm! Get me another one!!" -beavis

I remember watching that episode with my dad who knew about Pantera because of me. He almost died laughing.
