New acoustic recordings

Post by jgreenwd »

https://soundcloud.com/jgreenwd/leavitt-duets-1

It's been a while since I did any recording. So, I grabbed one of the books I've been working from this summer and hit the record button.
The guitar is an Agile Renaissance 8-string with flatwounds. I mic'd it with a microphone-parts.com MP-V57 and MXL 551 in a mid-side
pattern.

Thanks for listening!

Edit: added another new clip

I really think the acoustic tone on these is coming along nicely. I used my old beater Agile nylon for the 1st guitar parts and
my Agile Renaissance-8 steel-string for the 2nd guitar parts.
