Sweetwater is thoroughly and utterly awesome.

Just posted my NPD thread ~ first time I've bought "new" in a long time, and BY FAR the best experience I've ever had ordering gear online. Tried to get hold of Loop to go directly through him, in case he gets a commission, but I never heard back from him, so I just ordered through the website. A few minutes after I submitted the order, I got a call ... from an actual human being, wanting to make sure my order went smoothly and to see if I had any questions. Told the guy all was well. He asked me how I heard of Sweetwater, so I told him I had a buddy on a musician forum. He asked who; I told him ... and he put the order under Loop's name. Pretty cool, I thought.

So the package gets here, and right in the top is a packet like you'd get when you register for a conference or a weekend workshop, thanking me for my purchase and including info for ways to get in touch if I need any further help, a coupon off the next purchase, and other customer service stuff. Then, in the bottom of the box, a handful of candy & Tootsie Rolls(tm).

My order wasn't supposed to make it here till Tuesday, but it got here midmorning today.

All around, just a really pleasant experience. Whenever I buy new from now on, Sweetwater's getting my bidness.

I also love Sweetwater they are really awesome to work with, great customer service. My only complaint with the website is that it seems you don't get very accurate reviews of products like they filter out the negative ones or something.

I bought a pedal from them a while ago. Showed up DOA. I called. They apologized, then sent me a return label and i gave it to fedex the next day. Fedex lost the box. Sweetwater called me to make sure i sent it, then still sent me a new pedal even though they hadn't received any word that the package had been shipped. Then a week later, wehn they called to ask if i got the new one (and if it worked) they told me that FedEx had finally found / dropped off the busted one.

Aw yiss. Mutha. Fuckin. SweetWater.

Sweetwater is awesome. I have always gotten wonderful service from them. You may pay slightly more but in the long run its worth it. Bought my Kemper from Loop too.
