I don't know if this vid has been floating around here or not but I just discovered this today and Im so giddy. two Effin LEGENDS right here doing their thing. man stevie was such a talent and Albert King just oozed soul. The kind of guy that played one note and it meant so much and he played upside down my god that is so hard to do. Badass stuff right here.

Definitely some really great moments on that. I know Albert was a guitar hero of Stevie's. I think i still have cd from that from years ago somewhere. The one painful thing on it is where at times Albert's guitar is out of tune where you can tell he's holding back his playing and at time trying to re-tune a bit here and there on the fly.

Yep awesome. Albert is my favorite blues player.
SRV is SRV. Amazing as always.

I saw SRV and Albert King on PBS a couple of years ago, so awesome! Very cool to see a young, probably not too well known SRV with the legend Albert King.

Stevie was well on his way in 1983.
Great vid for sure.
A drummer friend here gigged with Albert in NYC back in the '80s. Said he was a tough SOB all the way around. Carried a gun with him everywhere in case a promoter or booking agent didn't want to pay up.

Every year when PBS does their telethon, they'll play the whole set. It almost makes it worth sitting thru the "please send us some $" spots that they do when they come back from commercials.
