Raw recording of some jams

Post by EndTime »

The quick of it is my drummer and i have been jamming and working on material for a new project, which will likely still be heavy, but there is no genre or limitations put on it. Whatever it becomes it becomes. so far we have a couple trax written, but our strength so far is creating16-20 minute improvs. Most sound like a piece of music in its raw improv state. Obviously, there are short moments where we may lose a groove, but we always manage to pick up sumthin else. I know jams are hard to listen to at times, but if you like a challenge, give this a whirl. I promise i think there is cool shit here! Lol. This one takes a fairly varied journey.

Just using a cheapo Tascam stereo field recorder, but it does the job.

That was cool. Its tough getting 3+ guys to metal jam for that long.. usually some riff takes over or something flubs & it ends.

That part around the 2:35 mark kicks ass. There's some other cool shit in there too, but that was the first one that really grabbed me. When the pace picks up it's hard to hear the guitar over the drums and cymbals so I can't really tell what's going on there, but the slower bits sound pretty damn awesome.
