So I got a Galaxy Note 2 yesterday...

Post by Shockwave »

Never ever never though i would go to a 5.5" phone...But damn..this thing is nice. I have been sick of the puny screens on the iphones for years now and have boughten and tried about 10 Android phones over the last 2yrs trying to get away from them. I must say this note 2 may be a keeper. It is big but goes in and out of the pocket as easily as the iphone 5 i have also which surprised me. Today is the first test on battery life but its supposed to be a beast with that 3100mah battery.

The S-Pen is pretty fucking cool also i must say..

I have two friends that swear by their Notes.... I'm kinda on the fence myself about getting one...I like putting my phone in my shirt pocket and I don't think the Note can fit there and if it could it might be too heavy...

Got one recently too, at first I thought "man this is beginning to be a little too big for a phone"
But now, I wouldn't change for anything, powerful and confortable !

Congrats!

Love my SIII

I have been looking around for pay as you go net dongle's for when I go on holiday, and I'm fed up with walking into a phone shop and being addressed with 'sup bruv' and 'oi bruv'. I know over here the phone shops are dominated by chavs, but the last one I went into the member of staff just stood across the room saying 'What's going on bruv' louder and louder until I turned around to see what the frak was going on (I thought there was a fight about to break out behind me...).

I love my Note II. I bought it the day they were released and haven't had to reboot or anything since, it has stayed on the whole time. OS is super stable, phone is stable, not one issue so far. Battery life has been great as well.

And boughten is not a word.

A coworker has one and it's neat but nothing I can see myself NEEDING.

I've got my nexus 4 which is perfect sized for a phone and my nexus 7 for extended sessions of browsing websites, e-reading, videos, etc.

My coworker though can't live without his. I think it's because his daily routine and lifestyle has shifted to needing a device with the stylus particularly so it's become a very useful tool where as with me, nothing I do from day to day necessitates a larger screen than my N4 and nothing needs a stylus.

I've also gotten REALLY comfortable with vanilla android. I did not care for some of the stuff that samsung slaps onto their android build.
