Niiiiiiiiiice!!! That should sound like sex with that Ampeg!!

I'm such a dumbass. Was playing my JCM600 the other night and stopped for a minute. Forgot I had my FF turned on. Wondered why it sounded so fuzzy and gainy even the the gain way down on the amp. Looked down, was almost blinded by the brilliant LED saying "Hey, Dumbass, stomp on me!"

Digging the colors and labels. What transistors did you use?

I can't wait to crank the Ampeg. I feel like the Fuzz Face really sounds best pushing an overdriven amp.

NOS Germanium NPN from Small Bear. The labels were done by hand with an acrylic paint marker. I'm stoked with how it came out.

Nice! Did you build from scratch or is the pedal from a kit?

from scratch with a random board I bought from radio shack. I didn't even use a layout, just when by the circuit. I'm just stoked it works

Yeah, it sounds amazing on either a clean channel right at the verge of break up, or a slightly overdriven amp to make it go RAWR!!!!!

And good other ways too, but those are both lots of fun. :)

I myself got most the parts for a FF clone. All I need are jacks and a TBP switch... oh and to stop being a lazy ass.

Congrats dude, it looks really good!

Pretty bright doesn't begin to describe it! Blinding is more like it!

It just shows you how aware of my surroundings I am.

Haha. I did that on purpose. All of my other pedals have super lame dull LEDs and its hard to tell if they're on half the time. So I just decided to make all my future pedals have super bright green LEDs so I can see if they're on from, you know, across the room.

Yeah, being colorblind the green doesn't really pop, but the sheer intensity does. I thank you for that. I'm pretty sure under normal (ie not a couple stiff drinks into things) circumstances I'd have noticed.

*Thinks about his condition when playing his guitar* Well, ok, nevermind.
