A cheap little Behringer BSY600, a bass synth that I'm using for guitar. Since I paid $50 shipped for the thing brand new in the box, I did't have the highest expectations of it. Boy was I surprised. It sounds AWESOME, has tons of versaitille synth options and sounds great in my guitar's range (tuned to drop C#). It's seriously the most fun pedal Ive ever played through. I really have no complaints with it at all, not even ones that are common in similar synths; such as the the BOSS SYB not tracking chords, this one does it just fine (yes, some settings do better than other, but still). It does just fine without a compressor in front (unlike the boos syb), I don't have mine with me at the moment, so I havent had a chance to try it with it tho. And it makes zero noise unless you crank the gain on the amp, and even thats nothing a decent noisegate couldn't solve. Right now I've got an expression pedal being shipped to me, that I can use to change the settings on it while playing, the awesomeness just never ends. Seriously, you guys need to buy this.
The only minor issue that I am having with it, is that the gain on my amp doesn't really go over it that well, it kinda muffles it. Almost like a distorted guitar synth over the original synth. I might have to get a bass distortion pedal to make that work tho. I'll see what other effects I can use with it to make it sound cool. Updates coming soon....
