One of my favorite albums of all time. The movie is fun to watch in its hokey way, but the music is literally perfect. Prince >>> me.

Little known Prince fact:

In his "off label era" there was a sequel to Purple Rain entitled "Purple House."

It did not fair as well.

No hate from me either.

Purple Rain was a fantastic album and the movie was fun to watch as well.

What surprises me is that he never managed to get to that level again on a single album.
