lol at the browns head coach not even having a clue his kicker was injured as he missed every kick throughout the entire game they could have won.
also a caller to one of our sports talk radio shows said the new lions coach looks like a 2 month old pile of dirty clothes in some kids dorm room. that shit made me laugh. fuck the lions.

I can't complain yet fellas but the season is still young!
Grabbing Mahomes after Week 1 might be my best move ever.....we'll see.

It takes about 8 weeks for teams to figure out new QBs. If he's still posting these #s in week 9, you might win the season because of him.

Agreed. I'm still holding my breath on Mahomes as it could just be a hot streak; however, KC does have a lot of offensive weapons for him to spread to ball around to. I figured I would just grab the hot hand. Worst case I can fall back to Watson who's on my bench.Ry Manchu wrote:Sierra Voodoo wrote:I can't complain yet fellas but the season is still young!Grabbing Mahomes after Week 1 might be my best move ever.....we'll see.

Well there’s going to be hindsight, 50-50, all that stuff. My vote is for moron trying to save face for the owner or himself of whoever made the call.
If you look at Sacks/Pass attemps. Last season Chicago was 6th and Oakland was 24th. Currently Chicago is 2nd and Oakland is 30th. Safe to say that one player can make a difference.

Dropped a couple of players and picked up a couple that I needed, so far so good, should win this weeks' matchup to become 3-1.

Okay, here's a good one for you guys...............
1. Name that one player that you've had on your team (by choice) on multiple occasions, during multiple fantasy seasons.....a player that you decided to take a flyer on.....who on face value you were expecting to get some production out of.....but year after year you get burned. For me, it has clearly been Nelson Agholor!! I've taken multiple flyers on him for multiple fantasy seasons and always get burned.

That's easy Cam Newton. He burned me twice. Never again.
I think 125.9 points with Alvin Kamara and my go-to flex both on bye was pretty good. I got 94, 97, 122 and 93 in the previous 4 weeks.

Re: Sticky: 2018 GABF Fantasy Football Thread
had a really good week and still lost. kickers are fucking with me. mason crosby put up a zero last week, dropped him and then the guy i picked up got me zero this week.
i was excited in the first round when it looked like i might get kamara. picked him up last year and he killed it. i was nervous about saquon barkley, only bc he is on the giants, but he has been doing great.

I had to go to sleep during the 3rd quarter, but I was sweating the points that Adams was putting up. I was prepared to wake up and see another L. I already lost 4 in a row. I don't trust the ESPN numbers at all. Every week they have me predicted to win. Good thing I didn't draft my team off their numbers.
Cam screwed me in 2014. In 2015 he goes off, so I draft him in 2016 only to be screwed again. I've also been burned by Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan. Some weeks Rivers just doesn't show up. I had him in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Unfortunately he's only good in odd years. Like Fox Mulder, I want to believe in Matt Ryan, but there's that little voice in my head saying, "Don't do it man, he's just gonna screw up your season again." I had Matt Ryan in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Unfortunately he's only good in even years.
I've had Andy Dalton and Carson Palmer as back-ups, never again. If you need 15 pts. for a win, Andy Dalton will get you 14 that week.

Yeah, um, die-hard Eagles fan here, but NEVER, EVER take one of their players on your fantasy team, well, besides Carson Wentz, who I have

Even so, he probably won't put up Drew Brees, Jared Goff, or Matt Ryan numbers on a consistent basis. I love the Eagles, and they have been good, but they never seem to have "the guy" who performs consistent enough to have on your fantasy team.
It took me scoring the most points in the league to win last night against Eli. I've been pretty lucky this season, I've had to add/drop every week, due to injuries, but I've won a few games. It would be nice to win some games without having to score 141+ pts

Carlos Hyde and Demaryius Thomas have both burned me in years past.
This year I suck so back I don't even care anymore...............
I mean, I'll still make moves on my roster - but I have no hopes for anything above a participation trophy.
(we do get those, right?)
